KCET 2026 registration deadline extended till this date: Check official notice here
KCET 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority has extended the registration deadline for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2026 (KCET 2026). Eligible candidates can now apply for KCET 2026 till February 22, 2026, on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/, according to the official notice released yesterday.
Along with the registration deadline, the authority has also extended the KCET 2026 application fee payment date. Candidates can now pay the application fee till February 24. This extension has been provided to give students additional time to complete the process smoothly, according to the official notice.
According to the KEA, a large number of students requested more time to complete their registrations. So far, around 2.9 lakh candidates have registered using their Aadhaar numbers. Out of these, approximately 2.5 lakh students have already paid the KCET application fee 2026.
The authority also shared progress details related to document verification. College-level document verification for around 35,000 candidates has been completed, while online document verification for nearly 1.8 lakh candidates has been done through SATS.
Taking all these factors into account, KEA decided to extend both the registration and fee payment deadlines for the convenience of students.
Candidates who have already submitted their KCET 2026 application forms are allowed to make corrections if needed. Students can log in using their credentials on the application form filling portal and edit any mistakes or incorrect details, according to the official notice.
KEA has clearly stated that applicants should carefully review their forms and ensure all details are correct within the allowed time.
According to the official schedule, the KCET 2026 examination will be held on April 23 and April 24. The exam is conducted every year for admission to engineering, architecture, medical, and pharmacy programmes offered by various institutes across Karnataka.
