JEECUP exam dates 2026 revised: Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has announced the new examination schedule for JEECUP 2026, according to which the entrance test will be held starting from June 2, 2026. Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (UPJEE Polytechnic) is a test held annually for providing admission to diploma and polytechnic courses offered by governmental and private institutes in Uttar Pradesh.

Thousands of students appear for the examination every year to secure seats in engineering, pharmacy, technology and other professional diploma programmes offered by participating institutes. The examination is conducted in computer-based mode for different groups and streams.
As per the latest notification issued by JEECUP, the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will now be conducted from June 2 to June 9, 2026. Earlier, the examination was scheduled to take place between May 15 and May 22.
The council revised the schedule after extending the application process and receiving requests from candidates seeking more preparation time.
The revised schedule has brought relief to many aspirants who were preparing for the engineering, technology and diploma entrance examination.
Candidates appearing for the UP Polytechnic entrance examination will be able to download their admit cards from May 25 through the official JEECUP website.
The admit card is an important document, and students will not be allowed to enter the examination centre without it. Candidates are advised to carefully verify all details mentioned on the hall ticket after downloading it.
Before announcing the revised examination dates, JEECUP had extended the registration deadline for candidates. The application process for JEECUP 2026 remained open till May 11, while candidates were allowed to complete the fee payment process till May 12.

Step 1: Go to the official JEECUP website - jeecup.admissions.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the "JEECUP Admit Card 2026" link that appears.
Step 3: You can enter your application number, password and security code in the space provided.
Step 4: Your admit card will be displayed. Download and print the same.
