JEE Main 2026 session 1 answer key, response sheet to be released on this date; check official announcement here
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1 provisional answer key and response sheet on February 4, 2026 or before it. Around 13 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to download both of these from the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Along with the provisional answer key, candidates will also be able to check their recorded responses through the response sheet. These will help students to match their answers and have an idea of their expected scores.
After the release of the answer key, the NTA will open the objection window from February 4 to February 5, 2026. During this time, candidates can raise objections if they find any mistake in the provisional answer key. The objections can be raised online by paying the required fee.
The final result of JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be declared by February 12, after considering all valid objections, according to NTA.
The NTA has also announced that the registration process for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 will begin from February 1. Candidates who are eligible can apply online through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The tentative application window for Session 2 will remain open from February 1 to February 25.

As per the official schedule, the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination will be conducted from April 2 to April 9, 2026. The admit cards are expected to be released three to four days before the exam dates.
Eligible candidates are those who have cleared Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025, or those who are appearing for Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2026. There is no age limit for JEE Main 2026.
