JEE Main 2026 January admit card expected soon: Know where and how to download session-wise hall tickets
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the JEE Main 2026 January session admit cards in a few days. Those students who have enrolled for the first session will be able to get their hall tickets from the official website. The admit card is a very important document, and candidates without it will not be allowed into the exam hall. Previously, NTA released the City Intimation Slip that indicates the exam city and shift, but it cannot be used to gain entry to the exam hall.
The January session exams will commence on January 21, 2026, and the admit cards will most likely be released 2 or 3 days before that. Students should have their application number and password handy and keep visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in so that they can download the admit card as soon as it is out.
When will the JEE Main 2026 admit card be released?
NTA usually releases the admit card 3–4 days before the exam. Since the January session starts on January 21, the hall ticket is expected to be issued around 17 or 18 January. The hall ticket will have your name, roll number, exam date, session time, and exam centre address. It will also show the reporting time. Students should download it as soon as it is released. This will avoid last-minute problems. How to download the admit card
Once released, registered candidates will be able to download their JEE Main hall tickets by following the steps given below:- Go to the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link for JEE Main 2026 admit card.
- Choose your session, then enter your application number and password or date of birth. Submit the details.
- Your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download it and print a few copies.
Important points for students
The City Intimation Slip only shows your exam city and shift. It is not enough to enter the exam hall. Check your admit card carefully. Make sure your name, photograph, and details are correct. Follow all instructions mentioned on it. If there is a problem, contact NTA at 011‑40759000 or email jeemain@nta.ac.in.Ready to navigate global policies? Secure your overseas future.
