INI-CET 2026: When will result be declared? Check counselling process, seat allocation details and next steps after exam
The Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) 2026 for the July session was conducted on Saturday across multiple centres, with thousands of candidates appearing for the postgraduate medical entrance examination.
INI-CET is conducted twice a year by AIIMS Delhi for admission into postgraduate medical courses including MD, MS, MCh, DM and MDS programmes in premier institutions across the country.

As per the official schedule, the INI-CET May 2026 result is expected to be declared on 23 May 2026. Candidates who qualify in the examination will proceed to the counselling and seat allocation rounds.
The result will determine eligibility for participation in the next stages of admission into participating Institutes of National Importance (INIs).
After the result declaration, the seat allocation process will be conducted online for all participating institutes. The counselling will include at least two main rounds followed by an Open Round, with the detailed schedule to be released separately.
