India Post has commenced the registration process for Gramin Dak Sevak recruitment for the 2026 cycle, inviting applications for 28,740 posts across postal circles nationwide. Candidates must have studied Mathematics, English and the local language up to Class 10. Basic computer knowledge, cycling skills and adequate means of livelihood are mandatory. Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from Class 10 marks, with no written examination.Application fee and salary structureA registration fee of Rs 100 is required before submitting the online application. The pay scale ranges from Rs 10,000 to Rs 24,470 per month for GDS and ABPM posts, while BPM posts offer salaries between Rs 12,000 and Rs 29,380 per month.
