NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has launched two free, advanced development programmes aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In collaboration with the Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Program (ESDP) Division of the Ministry of MSME, the institute has introduced the Advanced E-SDP for New Venture Creation and the 6-Day Advanced MDP for Business Scale-Up for MSMEs. The last date for applications is January 12, 2025.
Advanced Programmes for Aspiring EntrepreneursThe Advanced E-SDP for New Venture Creation is set to take place from February 3 to 7, 2025. This five-day course is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs transform their innovative ideas into successful businesses. Topics covered in the programme include entrepreneurial marketing, financing, leadership, operational efficiency, and the legal aspects of running a business. The curriculum aims to provide participants with practical knowledge and tools for identifying business opportunities, building a professional management structure, and ensuring corporate governance.
Supporting MSMEs with Business Growth StrategiesThe Advanced MDP for Business Scale-Up for MSMEs will run from February 3 to 8, 2025, over six days. Tailored specifically for MSME owners and managers, this programme will address the challenges of business expansion. Participants will explore key areas such as identifying growth opportunities, securing finance, developing scalable business models, and overcoming the unique hurdles faced by family-run businesses. The course will also focus on establishing global ventures and providing a roadmap for sustainable growth.
Free of Cost and Open to AllBoth programmes are fully funded by the ESDP, MSME, and participants will not be required to pay any fees. The courses are open to individuals aged 18 and above who hold a graduation degree. While the programmes are open to candidates from across India, special emphasis is being placed on participants from Chhattisgarh. Graduates from SC, ST, OBC, Women, and PH categories are particularly encouraged to apply.

Application and Selection ProcessInterested candidates must apply by the deadline of January 12, 2025. Applications will be reviewed in accordance with the ESDP guidelines, and shortlisted candidates may be invited for further interaction. Results will be announced shortly after, and selected participants will receive formal admission confirmation.
