IGNOU January admission 2026: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) extended registration window for admission to its Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online programmes for the January 2026 session will close on February 28, 2026.

IGNOU conducts admissions twice a year, in January and July. For the January 2026 cycle, the university had extended the registration window. Candidates can get admitted to numerous undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses offered through ODL and fully Online modes. Popular programmes such as BA, BCom, BSc, MA, MCom, MBA, and various diploma courses are included under this admission cycle.

Students opting for Online programmes must ensure they have stable internet access and a valid email ID. All official communicatioonline programsn from the university will be sent through registered email and SMS alerts.
