Haryana State Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has issued the examination schedule and list of shortlisted candidates for Female Police Constable (General Duty) Physical Measurement Test (PMT) 2026. Thousands of candidates who had successfully qualified for CET merit will now appear in the physical testing stage, which will be conducted from 8th to 13th June.
Haryana State Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has put out the list of shortlisted candidates on its official website. Candidates can view their registration number on the result PDF.
PMT test is the second stage of the selection process, and it plays a very significant role in screening candidates for admission to Haryana Police. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria in terms of physical measurement will qualify for further rounds. The recruitment drive aims to fill 600 Female Police Constable vacancies across the state.
Candidates who qualify the PMT will proceed to the Physical Screening Test (PST), followed by a written examination, document verification and a medical examination before final selection.
The commission has reiterated the physical measurement criteria that candidates must satisfy during the PMT.
Officials have warned that candidates failing to meet the prescribed standards may be disqualified from the recruitment process.
After clearing the measurement stage, candidates will be required to undergo the Physical Screening Test, which evaluates endurance and fitness levels.
In the process of recruiting Female Constable through Haryana Police, the selection of candidates happens in stages wherein the candidates are tested on physical fitness, eligibility, medical, and knowledge. In the selection process, firstly, the merit list of CET (Common Eligibility Test) is made. Then, PMT (Physical Measurement Test) and PST (Physical Screening Test) follow.
The candidates who pass the physical tests are called for the written test. Those who succeed in this part are then called for document verification, and further for a medical test.
