HPCET 2026: Exam pattern

The exam will be held in offline (pen-and-paper) mode with multiple-choice questions.
For BTech and BPharmacy courses:

• Total questions: 150
• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology
• Total marks: 600
• Duration: 3 hours 15 minutes

For other courses (MCA, MBA):

• Around 100 questions
• Topics: Verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, general awareness
• Duration: 2 hours
