The Himachal Pradesh Home Guards Department has released an official notification inviting online applications for the enrollment of 700 Home Guard volunteers under Advertisement No. 01/2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill positions across multiple categories, including General Duty, Bandmen, Drivers, and Technical Tradesmen. The online application process began earlier this month and will remain open until March 31, 2026 (11:59 PM).

As per the official notification, the 700 vacancies have been distributed across different roles. A total of 358 posts are allocated to General Duty (Men) and 167 posts to General Duty (Women). Additionally, 74 vacancies are reserved for Bandmen, while 76 posts are earmarked for Drivers and 25 for Technical Tradesmen.

The notification was issued on February 23, 2026, with the One Time Registration (OTR) process commencing from February 25, 2026. The submission of online applications started on March 2, 2026, and will continue until the deadline on March 31, 2026.
