dropped a year after class XII to prepare for CLAT exam. Finally, his hard work paid off as he bagged AIR 2 in CLAT 2019 by achieving 176.75 out of 200.

Harish who studied in Servite Convent School, Hoshangabad, secured 91.8% in class XII exams. Despite being a Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) student, his interest in Law overtook the thought of cracking JEE.

Son of an advocate who works with the Consumer Forum, Hoshangabad and homemaker mother, he credits his teachers and elder sister who is pursuing BA LLB, for their unconditional support and guidance.

"To prepare for the CLAT exam, I divided my schedule into two phases. For the first six months, I focused on English, which was my weakest subject. I also worked hard to improve speed in solving Math questions."

Harish says that solving mock tests, modules and previous year's question papers that he received from his coaching centre helped him prepare better.

As a relief from his preparation, Harish used to spend time in gardening, reading novels and playing football.

"I expected to be at least in the top 50, but being the All India second ranker was surprising. I have fulfilled my long cherished dream of getting admission in National Law University (NLU), Bangalore,"adds Harish, who aspires to be in the corporate financial sector handling. He desires to bring in reforms in the legal system once he acquires sufficient experience.
