The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board (GPRB) will close the online registration window tomorrow, December 23, 2025, at 11:59 PM for the Gujarat Police Recruitment 2025 drive. Eligible and interested candidates who have not yet submitted their applications are advised to complete the process at the earliest to avoid last-minute technical issues.
This large-scale recruitment aims to fill 13,591 vacancies across multiple cadres, including Police Sub-Inspectors (PSI), Jailers, Lokrakshaks, Constables, Armed Constables, State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) Constables, and Jail Sepoys. The online application process is being conducted through the Online Job Application System (OJAS) Gujarat portal.
The recruitment drive is one of the largest conducted by the state police department in recent years. Of the total 13,591 posts, 858 vacancies are for Police Sub-Inspector and Jailer posts, while the remaining 12,733 posts are allocated to Lokrakshak, Constable, Armed Constable, SRPF Constable, and Jail Sepoy roles.
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualifications and age limits for the respective posts.
In addition to educational and age requirements, candidates must meet physical standards, including minimum height, chest measurements (for male candidates), and height and weight norms (for female candidates). Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and other eligible categories as per government rules.

The selection process for Gujarat Police recruitment 2025 includes multiple stages. Candidates must first qualify the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which are qualifying in nature. This is followed by a written examination, the pattern of which varies by post.
Candidates applying for Police Sub-Inspector posts will appear for objective and descriptive papers carrying a total of 300 marks. Applicants for Constable and Lokrakshak posts will take a multiple-choice question-based test consisting of 200 questions for 200 marks, with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification, and interviews may be conducted where applicable to finalise the selection.

- Police Sub-Inspector and Jailer: Bachelor’s degree; age between 21 and 35 years
