The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Gurugram has announced revised office timings and work from home measures in view of deteriorating air quality in the Delhi-NCR region. The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has invoked Stage-IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) on December 13, 2025. The measures are aimed at reducing pollution levels and ensuring compliance with emergency protocols in the district.As posted on X by DC Gurugram, staggered office timings will be implemented for all public offices under the State Government and Municipal Corporations, Councils, and Committees. The revised schedule is effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice during Stage-IV of GRAP.

Revised office timings for government and municipal officesState Government offices will operate from 09:30 AM to 05:30 PM, while Municipal Corporation offices in Gurugram and Manesar will follow 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM. Municipal Councils in Sohna and Pataudi Mandi, along with the Municipal Committee in Farrukhnagar, will also observe the 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM timing. DC Gurugram emphasised that these changes are part of a coordinated effort to ensure public safety and reduce exposure to hazardous air quality, as mentioned in the press release shared on X.

DC Gurugram, in a post shared on X, stated, “This collective effort will support the effective implementation of GRAP measures and contribute towards improving air quality in the region.”The advisory applies until further orders. Employers are encouraged to facilitate remote work wherever possible. Authorities have reiterated that compliance with these measures is crucial during Stage-IV conditions. This highlights the role of both public and private sectors in managing environmental risks.
