GSEB 12th Result 2026: Students wait ends Monday at 10 am — how to check marks instantly
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will declare the Class 12 examination results on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 10 am, according to an official public notice issued for students across the state.
The announcement brings an end to the long wait for thousands of students who appeared for the board examinations held in February–March 2026.
The results will be released for multiple streams, including Class 12 Science, General Stream, Vocational Stream, Higher Secondary U.B. Stream, GUJCET 2026, and Sanskrit Madhyama examinations.
The result declaration is especially important for Science stream students, as it comes along with GUJCET 2026 results, which play a key role in admissions to engineering and professional courses across Gujarat. For many students, this result will determine their next step towards undergraduate programmes and competitive career pathways.
Students will be able to check their results online through the official website, www.gseb.org, by entering their seat number.
In addition to the website, the board has also introduced a WhatsApp-based facility, allowing students to receive their results directly by sending their seat number to +91 63573 00971.
Students must secure at least 33 per cent marks in each subject and maintain an overall aggregate of 33 per cent to pass. The criteria remain unchanged for both SSC and HSC levels.
In 2025, the SSC pass percentage stood at 83.08 per cent. HSC Science recorded 83.51 per cent, while HSC General performed strongly with 93.7 per cent, reflecting consistent academic trends across the state.
