GPRB revises physical test dates for Police Recruitment 2026 candidates
The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board has announced changes to the physical test schedule for several candidates under the Police Recruitment Board Physical Test-2026. The revised details pertain to applications received between 9 February and 13 February 2026 and have been uploaded on the official website, gprb.gujarat.gov.in.Candidates who had submitted requests for a change in their physical test date during the specified period can now check their updated examination schedules online.Revised Dates and Venues AnnouncedAccording to the notification, multiple candidates have been allotted new dates while retaining their original examination venues. For example, candidate Pinakin Vasantbhai Patel (Roll No. 10869596) will now take his physical test on 27 February 2026 at 8.00 am at the Police Parade Ground, Police Headquarters, near Civil Hospital, Rajmahal Road, Mahesana.Similarly, Amishaben Hasmukhbhai Parmar’s test has been rescheduled to 27 February 2026 at 8.00 am at J.D. Nagarwala Police Precinct, Police Headquarters, Shahibagh, Ahmedabad.In Bharuch, RahulKumar Bharatbhai Rajpurohit’s examination has been moved from 16 February to 10 March 2026 at 8.00 am at the Police Quarters, Kali Talawadi, Civil Lines. Many candidates in Jamnagar, including Dilip Devarajbhai Ghed and Bharatbhai Lakhabhai Dhagel, have also been given new dates in early and mid-March, while others have been rescheduled within February.
One of the points worth mentioning is that some candidates have been assigned new dates that are earlier than the original ones. For example, Ashish Samarbahaadur Yadav's test date has been advanced to 14 February 2026, 8.00 am at Bharuch.
Important Instructions for CandidatesThe Board has issued a special communication in which it is stated that candidates who have been assigned new dates must report for the physical test on the new date and time as indicated in the new list. They must carry their original call letter as no new call letters will be issued to them. Candidates whose applications for a change of date have been rejected must attend the physical test as per the original date mentioned in their call letter.The Board further stated that details of applications numbered 1 to 4169, received between 14 January and 8 February 2026, are available separately on the website. Additional applications for date changes will continue to be processed, and further updates will be published in due course.
