Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar

Designation: Minister of External Affairs

Dr. S. Jaishankar holds a degree from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. He possesses a Master's in Political Science, along with an M. Phil and Ph.D. in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. Throughout his career, he has undertaken various diplomatic roles, including assignments in Embassies located in Moscow, Colombo, Budapest, and Tokyo. Additionally, he has served in key positions within the Ministry of External Affairs and the President’s Secretariat.

Nirmala Sitharaman

Designation: Minister of Finance & Minister of Corporate Affairs



Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from Seethaiakshmi Ramaswamy College in Tiruchirapalli. She further pursued her master's degree in Economics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her professional journey includes serving as an assistant to the Economist at the Agricultural Engineers Association in the UK, based in London. Later, she took on the role of Senior Manager (Research and Analysis) with Price Waterhouse, also in London.

Piyush Goyal

Designation: Minister of Commerce and Industry, Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution & Minister of Textiles



In 1984, Piyush Goyal completed his Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) degree at H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, affiliated with the University of Mumbai. Subsequently, in 1987, he earned a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B) degree from Govt Law College, also under the University of Mumbai. Additionally, in the same year, he obtained a Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (I.C.A.I).

Ashwini Vaishnaw

Designation: Minister of Railways, Minister of Communications & Minister of Electronics and Information Technology.

In 1991, Ashwini Vaishnaw graduated from MBM Engineering College (JNVU) in Jodhpur, achieving a gold medal in the field of electronic and communications engineering. His success continued in 1994 when he secured an all-India rank of 27 in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) examination. Later, in 2008, he pursued an MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States.

Dr. Jitendra Singh

Designation: Minister of Science and Technology

Jitendra Singh completed his M.B.B.S. and M.D. (Medicine) and holds a Fellowship in Diabetes, MNAMS (Diabetes and Endocrinology), and an Honorary Ph.D. His education encompasses institutions such as Stanley Medical College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the All India Institute of Medical Science in New Delhi, Government Medical College in Jammu, and Amity University in Noida.

Jyotiraditya M. Scindia

Designation: Minister of Civil Aviation & Minister of Steel

Jyotiraditya Scindia got admission to St. Stephen's College at the University of Delhi, Delhi. Later, he transferred to Harvard College, the undergraduate liberal arts college of Harvard University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1993. Subsequently, he obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2001.

General (Retd.) V.K. Singh

Designation: Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways & Civil Aviation

He completed his graduation from the National Defence Academy (NDA) and further pursued an MSc in Defence Studies from Madras University. Subsequently, he advanced his education by obtaining a Master's in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College. Later, he earned a PhD from Barkatullah University in Bhopal.
