DSSSB releases DASS Grade 2 notification 2026; apply online for 911 vacancies
The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has published the DSSSB DASS Grade 2 Notification 2026 PDF for 911 posts including DASS Grade-II, Assistant Section Officer, and Legal Assistant. The notification was published on February 20, 2026, on the official website, www.dsssb.delhi.gov.in.The online application process for the DSSSB DASS Grade 2 Recruitment 2026 will start from February 24, 2026, and will continue until March 25, 2026. The application process will only be possible through the official website. The recruitment drive offers Group-B positions under the Government of NCT of Delhi for graduates meeting the prescribed criteria.Vacancy distribution across departmentsA total of 911 posts have been notified under Advertisement No. 01/2026. Of these, 576 vacancies are for Grade-II (GNCTDSS)/Assistant Section Officer in the Services Department. The Junior Engineer (Civil) posts account for 180 vacancies in Delhi Jal Board and 101 in New Delhi Municipal Council.Assistant Engineer (Civil) vacancies include 32 posts in Delhi Jal Board and one post in Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board.
The Legal Assistant vacancies are allocated in the following departments: Delhi Pollution Control Committee, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board, Department of Law, Justice, and Legislative Affairs, and Delhi Transport Corporation.The breakup of the posts according to categories is as follows: 365 for UR, 220 for OBC, 140 for SC, 59 for ST, and 127 for EWS, making a total of 911.Eligibility and age criteriaCandidates must hold a graduation degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or Agriculture from a recognised university or institute. The age limit prescribed is 20 to 30 years.For Legal Assistant posts, a degree in Law from a recognised university is mandatory. Experience requirements vary by department. Some jobs need three years of experience at the Bar, and others need one or two years of legal practice or experience in dealing with legal work in a Government Department or PSU. For Delhi Transport Corporation, the candidate needs to be enrolled with the Bar Council and should have knowledge of Hindi.Selection process and application feeThe selection process includes Tier 1 and Tier 2 online exams, Document Verification, and Medical Test. Depending on the job, there may be Skill Test, Endurance Test, Driving Test, or Trade Test. The application fee is Rs. 100 for UR and OBC candidates. Women applicants and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-serviceman categories are exempted. Fees must be paid through SBI e-pay only.
