Delhi University opens registrations for four-week administrative training programme: Check details here
The University of Delhi has issued a formal notification inviting registrations for a four-week Skill Enhancement Programme aimed at strengthening its senior administrative machinery. The last date to apply has been fixed as April 30, 2026. The training programme will be conducted from May 4 to May 29 in a hybrid format, combining physical sessions at the North Campus with an online component. It is open to Assistant Registrars, Administrative Officers, and other Group A officials, who play a central role in institutional governance and execution.
Offline sessions will be held at Room No. 210, Administrative Block, North Campus, a key administrative hub of the university.
As per the official guidelines, participation will be through nominations alone, with the departments/colleges within the university nominating participants at ₹8,000 and others nominated from other universities/institutions to pay a nominal amount of ₹10,000.
Participants have been requested to produce proof of nominations or fee payments on registration, suggesting that a controlled and regulated mechanism will govern the choice of participants.
The university authorities have decided to provide boarding and lodging to participants from outstations at the university’s Guest House. This is expected to suggest the potential for attracting participants from outside the direct ambit of the university.
It has come at a time when universities across the country have had to gear up their operations and prepare themselves for the changes that would occur following their administrative capacity enhancement programme. The programme at Delhi University aims to strengthen mid and senior level administrators within the varsity.
Considering that the cut-off date for application nominations is April 30, officials have decided to start the registration process through an online portal, which can even be accessed by QR codes.
