CBSE recruitment 2025: Registration deadline for 124 Junior Assistant posts extended, here is how to apply

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date to apply for its ongoing recruitment for Group A, B and C posts. Candidates can now submit their applications online till December 27, 2025, instead of the earlier deadline of December 22. Through this recruitment drive, CBSE aims to fill 124 posts across different services. The vacancies include roles such as Junior Assistant, Assistant Secretary, Assistant Professor and Assistant Director. Which posts are offered under CBSE recruitment

CBSE’s recruitment includes a range of Group A, B and C posts, offering opportunities for graduates, post-graduates, and even 12th pass candidates with requisite skills. Major posts offered under Group A services include Assistant Secretary, Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Academics/Training/Skill Education), and Accounts Officer.




Services under Group B include posts of Superintendent and Junior Translation Officer. Meanwhile, Group C posts include Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant.

CBSE selection process

The selection process for CBSE Group A, B, and C vacancies is done in mainly two stages.

Tier-I Written Examination: An objective test assessing general awareness, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and role-specific knowledge.

Tier-II / Skill Test: For posts like Superintendent and Junior Assistant, candidates may need to undergo typing tests or computer skill evaluations.

CBSE will do the final selection based on a combined assessment of written performance and skill tests, followed by document verification.

Aspirants can apply for multiple posts under the CBSE recruitment process. However, for each post, candidates must submit a separate application. Only then the scores obtained by candidates in Tier-I examination will be considered for all the applied posts.
