The CBSE conducted the CTET examination on February 7 and 8, 2026, at multiple centres across the country. The test was held in two shifts on both days.
The first session ran from 9.30 am to 12 noon, while the second session was conducted from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. Candidates appeared for Paper I and Paper II depending on their eligibility and teaching aspirations.

The Board has clarified that, the challenges that will be received are limited to paid challenges that come along the stipulated time period.
Candidates seeking to challenge any answer in the provisional key will be required to pay ₹1000 per question as processing charges.
The Board has made it clear that only paid challenges submitted within the stipulated time frame will be considered. Objections sent without payment or through any other medium will be rejected outright. This strict mechanism is aimed at ensuring that only serious and well-supported challenges are reviewed.
