AP 10th result 2026 out: Scored low or failed? Here’s how to improve marks, applying for rechecking and compartmental exam
The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) has declared the SSC Class 10 results 2026. Students can now check their marks through official platforms.
A total of 6,18,131 students appeared for the examination, out of which 5,26,954 candidates have passed. While most candidates have passed, a section of students may feel their marks are lower than expected or may have failed in one or more subjects. For such students, the board has announced a structured post-result process.
Students who believe there may be an error in totalling or marking can apply for recounting. This process checks whether marks have been calculated correctly.
The board has said that the application window is open from May 1 to May 7, 2026, and students must apply through their school.
The fee for recounting is Rs 500 per subject, and applications will be accepted only in online mode.
If students want a deeper review of their answer scripts, they can opt for reverification. This involves a more thorough checking process compared to recounting.
The fee for reverification is Rs 1,000 per subject. Like recounting, this process must also be completed through schools within the given deadline.
Key details
The board has said that those students who have failed or want to improve their marks can appear for the Advanced Supplementary Examinations which will be conducted from May 25 to June 4, 2026.
Students need to register through their schools. This gives candidates an opportunity to improve scores without waiting for the next academic year.
