Muzaffarpur district is set to receive 1,215 teachers in government schools under the fourth phase of BPSC TRE 4 appointments. According to media reports, the district education department has already prepared the category-wise and subject-wise vacancy list, and the requisition along with the roster will be sent to the headquarters. Primary schools to get 191 teachers
Only 191 vacancies are available for primary schools in the district. Of these, 87 seats are for the general category and 104 are for Urdu. The appointments will help fill these crucial positions, which have remained empty for some time.
Middle schools to fill 190 posts
For classes 6 to 8, the district has 190 vacancies across six subjects, including social science. These posts will ensure that students in middle schools have access to qualified teachers for their core subjects.
Secondary schools to receive 253 teachers
Secondary schools for classes 9-10 will get 253 teachers in the fourth phase. The subject-wise breakdown includes 8 Hindi, 59 English, 29 Science, 5 Mathematics, 1 Social Science, 90 Sanskrit, 28 Urdu, 6 Arabic, 9 Persian, 1 Fine Arts, 11 Dance, 3 Music, 1 Hearing Impaired, 1 Low Vision, and 1 Speech and Language Disability. PGT posts dominate with 581 vacancies
The largest number of vacancies is for PGT teachers in classes 11-12. The subject-wise details include Zoology 7, Botany 30, Chemistry 153, Mathematics 40, Physics 62, Economics 1, Geography 2, History 20, Home Science 11, Music 17, Philosophy 3, Political Science 12, Psychology 43, Computer 1, English 43, Hindi 8, Sanskrit 13, Urdu 27, Bengali 1, Bhojpuri 13, Magahi 10, Maithili 9, Pali 10, Prakrit 10, Persian 14, Yoga and Physical Education 3, Arabic 10, Sociology 8, totalling 581 posts.
