BITSAT 2026 registration begins today: Check session-wise application details here
The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani has opened the registration window for the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2026 today, marking the start of the admissions cycle for its integrated first-degree programmes. Aspirants seeking entry to BITS Pilani, BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad can now apply online through the official admissions portal.
BITSAT 2026 will once again be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) in two sessions, giving candidates the option to appear in one or both sessions, with the best score considered for admission. The institute has also released the complete exam calendar, outlining key dates for registration, examination, score submission and counselling, enabling students to plan their preparation and application strategy well in advance.
BITS Pilani has advised candidates to carefully verify all details before final submission, as corrections are permitted only during a limited application correction window announced later.
Experts note that this format allows candidates to treat Session 1 as an initial attempt and fine-tune their preparation based on performance feedback before appearing for Session 2.
Candidates must note that qualifying BITSAT does not automatically guarantee admission; final selection depends on cut-offs released after each counselling iteration.
