Bihar Police Recruitment 2026: 122 Havaldar Inspector posts announced; check eligibility, dates

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission has issued an official notification for recruitment to the posts of Havaldar Inspector. A total of 122 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive.

The application process has already started from May 1. Interested candidates can submit their applications online. The application fee has been fixed at Rs 100 for all categories.

Applicants must have passed Intermediate (Class 12) or an equivalent examination by August 1, 2025.

The minimum age is 18 years for all categories. The maximum age for general category men is 37 years, while for women it is 40 years. For BC/EBC candidates, the upper age limit is 40 years, and for SC/ST candidates, it is 42 years.

The selection process will include a written examination, physical efficiency test, and preparation of a merit list.
