AP LAWCET Counselling 2024: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has revised the AP LAWCET and PGLCET 2024 counselling schedule. Candidates seeking admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB and LLM courses can now apply until October 23, 2024, through the official website at lawcet-sche.aptonline.in. The application process began on October 16 for students who have cleared the AP law entrance exams.

Only candidates with a valid AP LAWCET or PGLCET 2024 rank and who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered for admission. During the application process, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 1,000, while those belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories need to pay Rs 500. It is important to note that candidates admitted under the self-support category will not be eligible for government scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria for AP LAWCET and PGLCET 2024


For admission into LLB and LLM courses, candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria. For the LLM program, candidates should hold a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree and have a valid AP PGLCET-2024 rank. For the 3-year LLB course, candidates must have achieved at least 45% marks in their qualifying degree for the open category, 42% for the backward category, and 40% for SC/ST candidates, along with a valid AP LAWCET-2024 rank. Similarly, for the 5-year LLB program, the same percentage criteria apply, but candidates must have passed the intermediate exam or its equivalent.
