AILET result 2025: AILET result 2025: The National Law University (NLU) announced results of the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026 on the official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The exam was conducted on December 4, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM across 47 test centres in 36 cities.

For the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme, a total of 23,960 candidates registered, of whom 22,532 appeared for the examination. Female candidates formed the largest cohort, with 13,537 appearing, followed by 8,994 male candidates and one transgender candidate. In the LL.M. category, 3,257 candidates registered, while 2,787 ultimately took the test.

AILET exam 2025: Category-wise participation

Among category-wise applicants, the General category accounted for the highest number of candidates, with 15,686 registrations across programmes and 14,613 appearances. Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) followed closely, with over 5,000 candidates appearing.

Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes recorded 2,825 and 771 appearances respectively. The Economically Weaker Section category saw 2,028 candidates appear for the exam. Under the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) horizontal reservation, 161 candidates appeared across both programmes.

The LL.M. programme also saw participation from Kashmiri Migrant candidates, with all 11 registered candidates appearing for the examination.
