Ahead of board exams, CM Yogi issues safety warning and urges discipline over marks
With board examinations approaching, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reached out directly to students with a message that goes beyond marks and merit. In a letter addressed to students, the Chief Minister urged them to place safety, health, and disciplined preparation at the centre of their exam journey as reported by PTI.
The Chief Minister, in a letter to students, emphasized the fact that using marks does not define academic success. He emphasized that good everyday decision-making, sanity of mind, and fitness are also equally significant to fulfill long-term objectives, particularly during the height of examinations.
This time, the Chief Minister gave a hearty warning against the use of Chinese manjha, the sharp kite string, which has been banned in the state. He identified that the illegal string has caused various severe and deadly accidents and therefore, presents a significant threat to users and the general population.
He called on students not to use Chinese manjha at all, and not to encourage their colleagues to use it, but to report to the police with the assistance of their families. The message emphasized the role that the youth play in maintaining safety in the community and the lives that are saved.
Another issue on the rise, CM Yogi reminded the students against the overuse of mobile phones. He cautioned that excessive gaming and excessive time spent in front of the video cause wastage of study time, loss of concentration, and even eyesight.
The Chief Minister urged the students to have a healthier lifestyle by reading books, playing sports, and spending time with the members of the family. He claimed that the partial and meaningful use of mobile phones would enable the students to be mentally active and focus on their academic ambitions.
The Chief Minister gave assurance and advice to students who were appearing in the Class X and Class XII board examinations. He encouraged them to be disciplined, firm, and steady in their preparation and not to be overcome by the fear of results.
Citing the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, he reminded students that they have the power to do whatever they wish to do, but not everything depends on one. He said that hard work should be genuinely done and not out of fear of failure.
CM Yogi Adityanath concluded his message by wishing success to all candidates on the board and gave them an assurance that their commitment and discipline would see them win. He added that the hard labor of students would not just make the families proud but also lead to the future power of Uttar Pradesh.
During a period when the academic and social pressures tend to blend into each other, the message of the Chief Minister is a good reminder that the most powerful pillars to success are safety, self-control, and consistent effort.
