Youth thinkers’ convocation sparks dialogue on youth, society and change

On International Youth Day, over 150 students from 14 NCR schools gathered at the fourth edition of the Youth Thinkers’ Convocation, hosted by Uttam School for Girls. The student-led event provided a platform to deliberate on pressing issues ranging from sustainability and gender pay gaps to cultural heritage and youth mental health.Centred on the theme “Unfolding Potential, Shaping Tomorrow: From Self to Society”, the two-day meet saw students present solutions through discussions and creative canvas displays. Keynote speaker VikramAditya Singh Malik from the Municipal Corporation of Ghaziabad and Ms. Aarya Mishra, founder of Menstrulog, engaged students on day one, followed by an address from Brig. Vijay Singh on leadership and perseverance on day two.The findings from the convocation will be presented at the UNESCO office in New Delhi and shared across social platforms, taking the students’ voices to a wider audience.
