1x1 polls
Come November, and the desi actor will start shooting alongside George Clooney and Matt Damon in a Robert Baer-produced project directed by Stephen Gaghan of Syriana fame. What makes Gulshan doubly happy is that he and his 19-year-old son Sanjay will play father and son in the movie.

"Our roles are of a Pakistani father and son working at an oil rig in the Middle-East," informs Gulshan, "When the father is suddenly removed from his job by the oil rig bosses, the family finds itself on the brink of starvation. This further strengthens the close bond between father and son. Seeing the dreams of his father about his beautiful homeland and snow-clad mountains about to be shattered, the son takes drastic action."

Gulshan feels that the makers of the movie might have taken into consideration the "close bond" he shares with Sanjay before shortlisting them for the roles. "I''ve met Baer, Gaghan and others involved with the project. They''ve expressed the desire that Sanjay and I recreate our relationship on screen," says Gulshan.

Incidentally, the father in Gulshan seemingly isn''t all that keen on Sanjay following in his footsteps. "If I were to have my way, I wouldn''t want Sanjay to become an actor. As of now, he should concentrate on his studies, secure a degree and then decide." This, when Sanjay''s role in this upcoming movie is lengthier than his dad''s. "I don''t mind playing a role with less screen time than my son, but I''d rather not have him becoming a full-time actor." Well, only time will tell if the Bollywood horizon will see another sonrise.
