Woman techie ends life in Vizag

VISAKHAPATNAM: Unwilling to get married, a 25-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself in her house near Pulagavanipalem under Pendurthi police station limits in Vizag city. The deceased was identified as D Sowmya, a software professional. Police said Sowmya’s marriage was fixed with a youngster a few weeks ago. However, Sowmya was not willing to get married to the youngster. She resorted to the extreme step after becoming unable to cope with the stressful situation. A case has been registered, and the body was shifted for post-mortem. TNN
