Woman arrested for throwing 37-day-old son to death in Andhra Pradesh

VISAKHAPATNAM: A woman, said to be mentally disturbed, was arrested on charges of killing her 37-day-old son by throwing him into a water drum at her home in Narsapuram village on Saturday.

The arrested was identified as Ch Sandhya. SI of Kasimkota, L Suresh Kumar and his team visited the house and concluded that someone killed the boy by throwing him into the container.

Later, Sandhya confessed that she had thrown her son to his death.
