VISAKHAPATNAM: Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel rescued a falling down passenger of 02727 Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad

at the city railway station on Monday.
On platform numbers 8 at 5.40pm, RPF sub inspector V Keerthi Reddy and her supporting staffs K Padmavati, KM Shobha, Manish kumar and Bhagat Singh rescued a passenger namely Srinivas Rao with PNR number 6546922173, coach number B4, berth number 32, from falling under the train.
The live footage of the incident was recorded in a body-worn camera, according to PS Swamy, the RPF circle inspector, Visakhapatnam.
"The rescued passenger was given first aid and handed over to the family. If timely action was not taken, he would have sustained a major threat to his life," Swamy told TOI.
