Vamsi’s followers shed tears over mayor choice
Visakhapatnam: The election of G Hari Venkata Kumari as Vizag mayor drew ire of followers of Ch
Vamsi Krishna’s followers said that it was he who had given land for the party office when the party did not have an address in Visakhapatnam and had strived hard to strengthen the party’s position in the city.
As his followers protested, Vamsi Krishna Srinivas said that his ‘tears would turn into a curse for those who have done injustice to him’. “This has happened in the past too. A section in the party worked against me and they became successful this time. I will meet chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the next few days and do whatever is determined by the chief minister,” said Vamsi Krishna.
Currently the president of YSRC Vizag and the corporator from ward number 21, Vamsi Krishna on Thursday said that he does not wish to continue as party president and would explain the same to the chief minister. But in the evening, Vamsi requested his followers to not put up any posts or comments against YSRC. “I will completely abide by the party’s decision,” he said.
