UP cop among 3 held with ganja

VISAKHAPATNAM: ASR district police seized around 200 kg of dry cannabis and arrested three persons when the trio were transporting the weed in a car at Araku Valley in the district.

The arrested were identified as Narendra Kumar, a constable with RPF in Uttar Pradesh, and his friend Rahul Singh, and Ananth Ram, a native of Odisha.

Acting on a tip-off, cops intercepted a car which was heading towards Vizag from Odisha, and seized 200 kg of dry ganja. A case has been registered and the investigation is on to nab a few more persons in connection with the case.
