Narpala boys, Rapthadu girls win APL titles

Visakhapatnam: Rapthadu ASC girls and Narpala boys won the U-16 titles in the Ananta Premier League conducted by ADCA and RDT in Anantapur on Sunday. It was mixed luck for Rapthadu as their girls’ team won the final beating SSBN Anantapur by eight wickets while the boys lost to Narpala by 31 runs in the finals.Brief scores (finals): Boys: Narpala 130 in 39.4 overs (Y Harsha 38; T Bhanu Prasad 4/18) bt Rapthadu ASV 99 in 32.5 overs (T Bhanu Prasad 27; K Sanjay 4/33, V Varmeswar 3/12).
