Visakhapatnam: Bezawada Blazers and Vizianagaram Royals recorded wins in the ACA’s Andhra Premier League for women in Vizianagaram on Tuesday.
Brief scores: Bezawada Blazers 113/6 in 20 overs (S Himabindu 62) bt Rayalaseema Queens 96/9 in 20 overs (M. Durga 39). Vizag Dolphins 120/4 in 20 overs (N Anusha 65, V Pushpa Latha 31) lost to Vizianagaram Royals 124/5 in 13.5 overs (V Sneha Deepthi 74; KVA Pavani 3/27).
AU set to host inter-university roller-skating:
Andhra University will host the all-India inter-university roller-sports, roller hockey and inline hockey tournament for men and women here from June 30 to July 3. Thirty-two universities have confirmed their entries so far and the number might cross 40 by the time the start of the tournament, said AU director of physical education N Vijay Mohan on Tuesday.
