Vizag Steel Plant agitation committee gave a call for Vizag bandh on March 28 as the anti-privatization of the plant movement would be completed 400 days by Friday.

said that they would fight against the government’s privatization move.
He alleged that the central government is trying to destroy the plant which can earn more profits if mines were allotted to it. He said they are opposing the evaluation of the steel plant assets process and inviting tenders on April 4.
The union leader said that they have been continuing a one-crore signatures campaign in support of the protection of the steel plant. “We would go to Delhi and get around 100 MPs’ signatures and submit one crore signatures to the Prime Minister,” he said.

said that they would continue the agitation till the government accepts to continue VSP as a PSU. he said around 250 workers have become victims to Corona. Even after that workers are continuing their fight for steel plant protection.
