Visakhapatnam: A man was found murdered in the bushes under Gajuwaka police station limits in Vizag city on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Siddhartha Shankar Patnaik (32), a native of Odisha and a resident of Mindhi locality in Vizag city.
The police said that Shankar Patnaik came to Vizag city in search of livelihood a few years ago and was a contract worker at Naval Dockyard. Patnaik had married a woman a few years ago but he separated from her due to family disputes. He was found dead with his throat slit.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that Patnaik was murdered on Monday night.
