YSRCP abstains from Amaravati resolution session
Vijayawada: Opposition YSRCP abstained from the special assembly session called for passing a resolution on including Amaravati as capital of Andhra Pradesh in the Reorganization Act. The party, which proposed the three-capital formula when it was in power, took a stand that there was no need for a assembly resolution on Amaravati. Criticizing the NDA govt of resorting to diversion politics, former minister Kakani Govardan Reddy said they never opposed Amaravati and their stand was to continue Amaravati as the legislative capital even in the past. Hitting back, IT minister Nara Lokesh said by staying away from the assembly on such a crucial day, YSRCP again proved they are against Amaravati. Mocking former chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for claiming credit for every project, he said maybe he will claim it for Amaravati also. "The resolution will reach the Union govt immediately and a draft bill to amend the Reorganisation Act is likely to be introduced in this Parliament session only," he said.

It is indeed ironical to note that the AP Coalition Govt is evining a gripping interest in Amaravati as the sole capital of AP.This is nothing more than cheating tha AP voters. The relatives of CBN and other Kammas who bought hundreds of acres of land there in the Inundated Town never ventured to construct the houses for their own. Even a small child knows that just a removal of half a foot of land in Amaravati would lead a gushing fountain of fathom fuls of water.Even Naidu made an aerial survey of the entire region and never did he divulge the results of the Survey.CBN has an intense feeling of guilt as he violated the Sivarama Commission's dictates to construct the Capital in between Vijayawada and Guntur. With a view to making quick money Naidu chose an Inundated city,a flood city,a town of multitudes of Reservoir as the sole capital. He conduct an international Drone Summit there.Soon he left for Netherlands to have MOU in running the capital. He did not hesitate keep in touch with Singapore. The ground reality is that CBN with the help of Computer images got the capital inaugurated twice by Modiji. This resulted in making Amaravati a Debt Trap. Even World Bank laid stress on this. Now hurriedly CBN and the Coalition partners sent the Draft to Parliament for approval. The AP youth and the AP voters must know that the present Coalition Govt is ditching everyone into waters. So the intellectuals in AP must educated every one in the right direction.Read allPost comment
