Two from Tamil Nadu killed in road accident near Chittoor
Tirupati: Two persons from Tamil Nadu were killed in a road accident near Jangalapalli in Chittoor district around midnight on Friday. According to BNR Peta SI Manikanteswara Reddy, the deceased were identified as Vasantha Raj (21) and Somasekhar (21).The duo were residents of the Vellore district and co-workers at a factory in Sriperambadur, Chennai. The duo attended a wedding at Ponnai and were returning to Vellore via Chittoor on their bike on Friday night.

When they were crossing Jangalapalli, they crashed into a tree trunk at very high speed and succumbed to injuries on the spot before they could be shifted to the hospital.BNR Peta police reached the accident spot and shifted the bodies of the deceased to the govt general hospital at Chittoor for post-mortem. Police registered a case and informed the family members of the deceased about the tragic road accident.
