TTD receives Rs 1.2 crore from Hyderabad donor
Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams received a donation of ₹1.2 cr from Hyderabad based B.V.V.S.N. Raju of Max Infra Private Limited on Sunday. Out of this, ₹44 lakh was contributed for sponsoring one day Annaprasadam distribution at the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex, while Rs.76 lakh was donated to the Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust. The donor handed over the donation DDs to additional EO SCh Venkaiah Chowdary at the Ranganayakula Mandapam in the Srivari Temple. Meanwhile, TTD has clarified to devotees that there is no fuel shortage in Tirumala. As petrol was exhausted at the HP and IOCL petrol bunks in Tirumala on Sunday afternoon, No stock boards were displayed at the respective outlets.By evening, a tanker reached the HP petrol bunk and fuel became available. It has been informed that a tanker will reach the IOCL petrol bunk by tomorrow morning as well. TTD additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary also instructed the dealers to take precautionary measures in advance to ensure that no fuel shortage arises at the petrol bunks in Tirumala.
