VIJAYAWADA: Tension prevailed in Narsarraopet town of Andhra Pradesh's Palnadu district on Sunday evening After an altercation between YSRCP and TDP leaders took place at the house of TDP leader Challa Subba Rao. Challa Subba Rao, speaking to the media on Saturday, alleged that the YSRCP leader and local legislator Gopireddy Srinivas Reddy was involved in several acts of corruption in the district. Subba Rao's home was stormed by YSRC activists. TDP activists arrived at the location after learning of the information and staged protests. Both party members allegedly attacked one another with rocks and sticks. TDP leaders Kadiyala Ramesh and Aravind Babu's and a police van's vehicle windows were broken during this attack. The driver of Aravind Babu's automobile suffered brain injuries as a consequence of the stone attack. The cops dispersed the groups as soon as they arrived.
