TDP rubbishes Jagan's claims on YSRC manifesto, says 85% of promises remain unfulfilled

VIJAYAWADA: TDP rubbished the claims of chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy that he has implemented 99% of promises made in YSRC manifesto. TDP state president K Atchannaidu on Sunday said that Jagan Mohan Reddy once again made a desperate attempt to hide his failures by spreading lies. As many as 85% of promises made in YSRCP manifesto remain unfulfilled even after five years of rule but the chief minister has made tall claims showcasing his ease in spreading blatant lies without blinking an eye, said Atchannaidu.

Right from allocation of budget to welfare schemes to benefits given to farmers, there is no match between TDP and YSRC, said Atchannaidu. While the welfare budget in TDP regime was 19%, it was only 15% in YSRC rule, he said. Pointing out the promise made by Jagan Mohan Reddy before 2019 election by saying that he will not ask for votes if failed to implement complete liquor prohibition, Atchannaidu said that Jagan Mohan Reddy cheated people of Andhra Pradesh. “The chief minister is responsible for health issues of 35 lakh people and deaths of 30000 people who lost their lives because of substandard liquor being sold by YSRC govt” he said.

Atchanniadu further said that the employees were cheated by Jagan Mohan Reddy by promising to abolish CPS within a week. He also failed to increase salaries of Anganwadi workers, cheated farmers by cancelling loan waiver, not filled 2.3 lakh govt jobs as promised, failed to build 25 lakh houses, diverted 1 lakh crore from sub-plan funds, siphoned off Rs 12000 crore from the accounts of local bodies and even cheated women in the name of Amma Vodi, said Atchanniadu.

The TDP state president lambasted Jagan Mohan Reddy for attributing his failures to opposition party. He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy is staring at imminent defeat even in Pulivendula constituency and trying to cheat people again by spreading lies.
