Guntur: Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the state govt has set special focus on peoples' health to build wealthy Andhra Pradesh. He said that his vision to achieve Swarna Andhra is possible only through healthy society and emphasised that people should display more awareness in protecting their health to live long. He said that simple changes to lifestyle will automatically bring happiness and keep them away from hospitals.
Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated Kims Sikhara super specialty hospital here on Wednesday. Addressing the gathering, the chief minister said that the state lagged behind in all sectors due to the mismanagement of the previous regime, especially in the healthcare sector. He said that in addition to raising the living standards of the people, the govt is working towards providing better and free medical care to the poor.
He criticized the previous regime for trying to criticize his govt despite the fact that they could not give a drop of water to AIIMS, Mangalagiri. He said that the govt is moving forward with a target of 15% growth rate to achieve Swarnandhra Vision 2047. He lauded Kims chairman Bollineni Bhaskara Rao's commitment and dedication to the healthcare sector. He said that he started Kims in Nellore way back in 2000 and it has grown into a big healthcare institution spreading its wings to five states. He said that Bhaskara Rao is an example of the fact that credibility comes only when someone follows through on their words and called Bhaskara Rao's journey as an inspiration as about 10,000 people invested in the firm.
Kims chairman Bollineni Bhaskara Rao, ministers Satya Kumar Yadav, Atchannaidu, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and a few legislators participated in the programme.
