SRM University-AP launches INFINITUS 2026 with 6,000 participants

Vijayawada: SRM University-AP on Wednesday inaugurated INFINITUS 2026, a 4-day national techno-cultural festival, with over 6,000 participants from across the country taking part in the event.The fest was formally launched in the presence of Chief Guest Vijay Thirumala, Vice President of Swiss Re, Vice Chancellor Prof Ch Satish Kumar, Registrar Dr R Premkumar, and others.
INFINITUS 2026 features more than 25 technical competitions, including hackathons, robotics contests, coding challenges, virtual reality events, and drone simulators. The festival also includes specialised workshops and seminars designed to promote innovation and technical excellence.In addition, over 10 non-technical events such as photography contests, fashion showcases, and cubing competitions are being conducted to encourage creativity and self-expression among students.Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Vijay Thirumala urged students to use such platforms to develop strategic thinking, adaptability, and collaboration skills. Vice Chancellor Prof Satish Kumar highlighted that techno-cultural fests play a key role in holistic development and leadership building.The event will also feature live concerts by noted artists including Karthik, DJ Gautum, Jonita Gandhi, and Ali Merchant.
