Nellore murder linked to extramarital affair

Tirupati: Rapur police in Nellore district solved a brutal murder case involving a 22-year-old man whose body was found dumped in a lake. Four individuals, including the victim's live-in partner, were arrested and taken into custody. The victim, identified as Pagidi Subrahmanyam (22), belonged to the Yanadi (ST) community from Giddaluru village. He was found dead in the Adurupalli-Giddaluru village pond. The body was discovered in a highly decomposed state, with the hands and feet tied, and stuffed into a gunny bag weighted down with stones to prevent it from floating. The accused were identified as P Mastanaiah (30), Y Lakshmamma (28), B Mastanaiah (40), and T Srinivasulu (45).
