Man’s body found in public toilet in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: A mysterious death has come to light as an unidentified man was found dead inside a public toilet in the Kanaka Durga Nagar area. The incident surfaced after sanitation workers noticed a foul smell emanating from the facility and alerted authorities. Upon inspection, they discovered the decomposed body and immediately informed the police. According to preliminary observations, police suspect that the man may have died nearly three days ago. The delay in detection led to advanced decomposition, making identification difficult. Police rushed to the scene, secured the area and shifted the dead body to a govt hospital for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the exact cause of death. Officials are examining CCTV footage and gathering local inputs as part of the probe.
