Jagan reformed education, health, agri sectors: YSRCP
Vijayawada: Deputy chief minister Peedika Rajanna Dora has said that chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy deserves all credit for implementing revolutionary reforms in education, health, and agriculture. He urged people to recognise the stark contrast between the YSRCP and the previous TDP governments and extend their full support to Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that the previous regime was steeped in corruption while all services are conveniently delivered to homes under Jagan’s rule. Addressing a public meeting held in Parvatipuram Manyam as part of Samajika Sadhikar Yatra (social empowerment) on Friday, the deputy chief minister highlighted the noticeable transformation not only in the state but also in the lives of the people under the Jagan’s leadership. He said that there was positive shift from the marginalized sections in the society as SC, ST, BC, and minority communities have been given positions of importance and respect.“Tribals were granted land by Y S Jagan while Chandrababu Naidu ditched them by promising to grant land,” said Rajanna Dora.Highlighting the developments undertaken by the YSRCP government, revenue minister Dharmana Prasad Rao said that many question the substantial investment in the education of school children by the YSRCP government.“Our CM’s focus is on fostering the state’s growth by empowering the backbone of our society, our children. Jagan envisions investing in our children, ensuring that the financial constraints of parents do not hinder their children’s opportunities,” said Dharmana. He said that the extensive development undertaken by the YSRCP government across various sectors is narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor, showcasing Jagan’s unwavering dedication to uplift the underprivileged. He said that tribal areas got medical and engineering colleges as the CM was committed for the uplift of the tribals on all fronts. He said that no one anticipated getting government medical colleges and super specialty hospitals in the remote tribal agency areas until YS Jagan became the chief minister. The minister also took a jibe at TDP chief Naidu for deceiving the people throughout his five-year tenure as chief minister.“Before 2014 elections, Naidu misled the public by making promises but failed to fulfil. He betrayed farmers, women and all classes in every region. On one side, there is a leader true to his commitments, while on the other, we see a leader immersed in falsehoods and deceit,” said Dharmana.Deputy chief minister Budi Muthayala Naidu, and Parvathipuram MLA Alajangi Jogarao were also present.YSRCP cadres turned out in big numbers fluttering blue, white and green flags with the resounding chorus of ‘Jai Jai Jai Jagan!’ echoed in Parvathipuram Manyam. Bus yatra was also held in Pedakurapadu constituency of Palnadu district and Tamballapalle of Annamayya district.
