Indian-origin USA cricketers worship at Tirumala
Tirupati: Indian-origin cricketers in the USA team taking part in the T20 world championship Sourabh Naresh Netravalkar, Mounank Patel and Milind Kumar offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple at Tirumala on Tuesday. The Indian team, led by captain Suryakumar Yadav, defeated the USA team in the group stage match by a margin of 29 runs on Feb 7.The USA players, currently on the India tour, offered prayers at the Tirumala temple during the VIP break Darshan slot on Tuesday morning. Several visiting devotees cheered and took photographs with them near the hill temple. Speaking to reporters after their darshan, the American cricketers stated that it was their first visit to Tirumala, and it was a great spiritual experience coming here.
